Don’t do twitter if you are a beginner!
Build in public belongs to the old age where social media hasn’t take over people’s brain.
I believe people had to write well descriptive articles on what they were building to share in their small community or through emails, forums, etc.
No armed and constantly engineered algorithms then, just write share and discuss in the simple user interface.
But now almost everything social online has been armed with this crazy algorithms, good luck just dropping “hi” to your friend on their dm and leave without scrolling for the next 3 hours.
Trust me, if you are a beginner in the programming world, There is nothing you need on twitter at least for now, you will only get pressured, ignored, or fall to the group of “shitpost or lose money and time“.
Your Number one priority should be building, I repeat “building”,
With the right roadmap and strategy within a year or two you could start applying for internships in your desired domain at least that’s my current plan, fingers crossed.
But truly having groups of like minded individuals to talk to and discuss your hobby is quite important, so I’ll advice you join a small community, maybe a group on WhatsApp, or maybe start writing blogs to showcase your projects or document your progress, bugs and solutions in the programming world to help someone out there,
Without worrying about follower count or if a million people agree with you.
That’s exactly what I did I joined a group on WhatsApp that I luckily met through x and that’s just fine enough, no one is giving a beginner a job on twitter, Trust me it is waste of time and it’ll have a lot of bad effect on your brain.
The programming world is a lot of brain work, you don’t want to poison it with junks.
Here is a suggested solution for you:
Disclaimer: strictly follow at your risk!
Go to roadmap.sh to find a roadmap for your desired domain,
Leave x or any overly bloated social media,
Find a small community,
Try to get close to two or three people better than you,
Build project and always try to impress them, or ask them for review, Trust me you will learn a lot faster than you think,
Maybe write blogs to showcase your journey too.
Free yourself and your brain from the algos and go build something fantastic.
Love.
